Weddings are so heavily photographed nowadays. You've got the regular photographer, a backup photographer, a film photographer, a videographer, and probably a few other specialists I haven't even heard of yet. And the cost of it all makes me sick. Dropping thousands of dollars on a single day is basically the standard. Meanwhile, your entire guest list is snapping photos on their phones for free. But that's just part of the lore of wedding culture. Throw social media into the mix, and brides are becoming even more adamant about making sure every photo is perfectly coordinated — from color-coded outfits to perfectly curated backdrops. After all, it's not just about the big day anymore; it's about the highlight reel they're going to post on IG over and over again for many years to come.
